A painting that has achieved what I want it to achieve. Here a flamingo wades in the marsh with mud and flowers. There was a complete painting of a bear under here, but after a while, it wanted to be a flamingo. Some aspects of the bear can be found with careful observation. Graphic stencil work of leaf and stem play against the organic shapes of the flamingo and flowers. The flamingo is obvious and central, but lots of other stuff is going on too. Upper left is falling off in to abstract land, more flowers or more flamingos? You decide. Also, it also includes glitter. GLITTER. Sealed in there with varnish so it is not going anywhere.
